Pat Leigh Pittman practices in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, business formation, including corporations, LLCs and professional associations, general business transactions, estate planning and probate.

Pat Leigh was raised in Fairmont, North Carolina, on a tobacco farm which land-grant traces back to the 1700s. Her interest in real property law stems in part from this family heritage. Her father Pat and mother Penny encouraged a career in law from day one and were proud when their youngest daughter did well at Wake Forest. Unfortunately, her father died before she made the decision to attend the school of law at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her interest in estate planning and probate stems in part from experiencing her mother deal with this premature loss.

 

In her spare time, Pat Leigh and husband Tom Glasgow (Craven County extension director and horticulture agent) take long walks at the beach and hike on the many Croatan trails with their son, Nathaniel. Pat Leigh would love to write a novel one day and spends as much time as possible running.
